The patterns from the dark light was an innovation project experimenting with pattern and shadows.
Investigating effect of shadows and light being projected through four different acetate designs to a variety of 3D objects and a model. In which this contrast between shadow an light has created a screen/digital image
This investigation also included using the light without the acetate as an experiment to see what colours can be processed.
Firstly I only used two designs: one stripes and one florals which was on acetate and projected on to an old fashion projector.
As well as looking at shadows i was also looking at the light from the reflection of the projector.
Forcing on the pattern reflecting on the skin of the mode as well as the white to and the contrast between
light and dark.
light and dark.
I started to use a model and garments to see how the pattern would look on top. This was a quick and easy way to see what scale of the pattern would work on top of a garment.
Creating colour through the light bulb from the projector.
Colour created from crystal class projected of a projector's light bulb.
I have over 300 photographics of different types of shadows on light projected on to 3D objects, garments, walls, models and fabric. If you are interested to see anymore of them please contract me.
